The food is great and so is the service. You'll most likely find the owner walking around talking to everyone. This will be a regular lunch spot for me.
Hot dogs so good they could come with an addiction warning. I know of no place that uses pretzel dough to make hot dog buns...until I found Skippy's. A self-professed pretzel fiend, an all-beef frank wrapped in a pretzel-bun is truly heavenly.
They are located at 624 W. Fourth St. in downtown Winston-Salem.
If you're not a hot dog fan, they have a good selection of sandwiches as well. Not to mention delicious fries. Go straight up or add chilli and cheese. Either way its win win.
